Born in the picturesque fishing village of St. Cado, on the south coast of Brittany, Head Chef Alain has been surrounded by great food and great ingredients all his life. His love of France, and particularly of his home village and the Brittany region is evident in the food we serve at Launay's. Alain returns to Brittany often to spend time with his family, and always manages to come back to England with new ideas and inspiration!

We're celebrating Alain's cullinary roots with a Brittany Seafood Showcase – six mouthwatering courses of the finest seafood from Brittany. Alain will be travelling to Brittany (a great excuse to return home and visit his family!), along with a small group of fellow food lovers, to source the ingredients himself.
