GOURMET EVENING

Wednesday 6th March 2019 – £38 per person, booking essential

Launay’s Gourmet Evening, held on the first Wednesday of every month, is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a number of dishes and flavours. As ever, if you would like us to make any changes to the dishes being served, we will gladly discuss any options with you. We normally advise that you arrive between 7:00-7.30pm to give you enough time to relax between courses.

GOURMET EVENING MENU

Aperitif

Kir peche, Colchester oyster, pickled mooli,
smoked herring roe & celery air

Entrement

Cream of purple potato & watercress soup, eight grain bread roll

Poisson

Pan fried cod cheeks, scallop emulsion, blood orange & chicory salad

Viande

North African marinated goat, harissa & lemon tabbouleh,
apricot puree, date pastia

Fromage

Shropshire blue, home made malt loaf, pear & saffron jam

Dessert

Black sesame pavlova, winter fruits, yuzu curd,
black sesame ice cream & passion fruit cream

Café

Coffee, caneles de bordeaux

 

A deposit of £10 per person or credit card details. 5 days notice of cancellation is required or deposit is non-refundable / £10 cancellation charge will apply to credit card.
