GOURMET EVENING

Wednesday 3rd April2019 – £38 per person, booking essential

Launay’s Gourmet Evening, held on the first Wednesday of every month, is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a number of dishes and flavours. As ever, if you would like us to make any changes to the dishes being served, we will gladly discuss any options with you. We normally advise that you arrive between 7:00-7.30pm to give you enough time to relax between courses.

GOURMET EVENING MENU

Aperitif

Floral vodka, Jersey royal potato, herb cream cheese,
smoked herring roe, pickled grape & kombu oil

Poisson

Crab scone, crab mayonnaise, dill, apple & cucumber piccalilli

Entrement

Pressed pork collar, smoked ham hock & leek terrine en croute,
port & bacon jam, root vegetables

Viande

Assiette of Scottish roe deer – sous vide haunch & faggot, brown butter
infused salsify, braised red cabbage with bacon & raisins, red wine jus

Fromage

Goats cheese crotin, poached rhubarb with basil & juniper shortbread

Dessert

70% dark chocolate tart, parsnip textures

Café

Coffee, madeleines

 

A deposit of £10 per person or credit card details. 5 days notice of cancellation is required or deposit is non-refundable / £10 cancellation charge will apply to credit card.
