GOURMET EVENING
Wednesday 6th November 2019 – £38 per person, booking essential
Launay’s Gourmet Evening, held on the first Wednesday of every month, is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a number of dishes and flavours. As ever, if you would like us to make any changes to the dishes being served, we will gladly discuss any options with you. We normally advise that you arrive between 7:00-7.30pm to give you enough time to relax between courses.

GOURMET EVENING MENU
Aperitif
Spiced hot rum, heritage beetroot, smoked cream, dark chocolate, cherry vinaigrette
Entrée
Sous vide rabbit loin, chestnut panna cotta, kale compote
Le poisson
Seared halibut loin, variations of celeriac, Granny Smith apple
La viande
55 degree sirloin of Derbyshire beef & sticky short rib, caramelised shallot & Madeira puree,
burnt leeks, onion oil jus gras, champ potato
Fromage
Gruyere cheese souffle, spiced pear loaf, pear compote
Dessert
Toffee apple – caramelised apple mousse, toffee jelly, caramel tuille
Cafe
Coffee, homemade bonfire toffee
A deposit of £10 per person or credit card details. 5 days notice of cancellation is required or deposit is non-refundable / £10 cancellation charge will apply to credit card.
