GOURMET EVENING
Wednesday 2nd November 2016 – £38 per person, booking essential
Launay’s Gourmet Evening, held on the first Wednesday of every month, is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a number of dishes and flavours. As ever, if you would like us to make any changes to the dishes being served, we will gladly discuss any options with you. We normally advise that you arrive between 7:00-7.30pm to give you enough time to relax between courses.

GOURMET EVENING MENU
Apperitif
Poison apple, mini black pudding, confit onions, mushroom soil, pistachio moss
La Soupe
Roasted artichoke veloute St Nezaire cheese, trompette de la mort, hazelnut,
ham crisp, hazelnut loaf, amethyst
Le Poisson
Langoustine cigar, marinated baby squid, olive oil gel, poached lettuce
La Viande
Lamb 2 ways: Roasted rump & braised shoulder, burnt leeks, caper berries,
goats milk jelly, savoury lemon curd, onion crisps, bread & butter
Le Fromage
Port & red wine poached pear, Roquefort cheese, shiraz reduction, chestnuts
Dessert
Pumpkin trifle, caramel jelly, whipped yoghurt, cinnamon custard,
pumpkin & honey ice cream, pumpkin seeds
Café
Coffee, toffee apple
A deposit of £10 per person or credit card details. 5 days notice of cancellation is required or deposit is non-refundable / £10 cancellation charge will apply to credit card.
